Eligibility and application
AMT determines eligibility through its published education, work-experience, military, and instructor pathways. Review the current requirements and documents for your pathway directly with AMT. An overseas medical or nursing qualification does not by itself establish eligibility.

Use AMT’s current candidate information for the exam outline, testing arrangements, and application process. AHWA can help you plan your preparation; the certifying body makes the eligibility and certification decisions.
Program fees
AHWA lists a standard package at $879 and a $389 rate for qualifying candidates with prior medical or nursing education. Ask an advisor to confirm eligibility for the reduced rate and which services and third-party fees the package includes.
Enrollment and certification
This is preparation for a separate certification process. The certifying organization determines eligibility and awards its credential; enrollment does not guarantee approval or an exam pass.
